Bay area party people! Who’s ready for another wild night at 1015? We’re gearing up for big things at the venue, with up and coming shows including a Ghostly International label showcase, and a psybient bicycle-day extravaganza on 4/19, the wheels are really turning in full motion. Don’t fret though, you shan’t feel like you need wait to get down- this Friday, PantyRaid is coming to 1015 to turn down the tempo and turn up the heat. PantyRaid is the musical culmination of the glitch-mob’s Ooah and bass producer MartyParty, a pioneer of purple dubstep and master purveyor of essential bass tunes. The pair has been mysteriously under the radar lately, leading us to believe that they’ve been putting in some serious work in the studio. We’re expecting a ragey show full of tunes both new and old, but we’re certain that you can expect loads of unreleased material. Both artists are involved in a variety of projects, and have been on the scene for quite some time, so there’s no telling where their set will take us (other than to 4 in the morning the following Saturday), but if you’ve yet to see a PantyRaid set (or even a MartyParty one), just know: you will not be disappointed.
With their unique style of back-and-forth DJing, these guys really get the dance floor moving and shaking. I’ve seen the duo both as PantyRaid, and as other projects, and every time, I leave thinking, ‘no way the next set can top that.’ All I have to say is, PantyRaid is coming to San Francisco-You BEST expect a night!
